do you like Mark Cuban? and do you think Avery Johnson should have been blamed and fired?

its not even his falt, its the team. and thats why cuban will never win a championship. and New Orleans was to good for them.

There are not many owners who are as involved with their team as Mark Cuban. It's good in some ways in the great relationships he has and the way he provides a lot of comforts and stuff for his players.

But i don't know how great of a basketball mind that Cuban has and- he handled thier recnet acquisition of Jason Kidd very poorly. He polarized the team for a couple of weeks and put Devean George in a very bad position by not approaching him first- knowing he had a "no-trade clause" i mean he let the fans boo Devean (and honestly i think it took him a couple of weeks to recover). He pushed for Kidd which turned out to be a bad move- and traded away some of their future first rounders in the process...

Avery is a great coach- has had a poor post-season record- but this year definitely Cuban was a lot more to blame than Avery.

When it was looking like the deal wasn't going to happen- Avery backed up his players and said-- "Hey we can win with the guys that we have."

When Avery told the players not to "party"- Josh Howard comes back and rebels and let's it be known that he smokes Marijuana- where was Cuban to back up his coach???

Anyhow those are my thoughts... the Kidd trade kind of messed up the Mavs for a couple of seasons- and it's not Avery's fault-- just wait till next season and we'll see how much better the Mavs are without Avery.
