Faux Diamond

I have a ring that says 18K GE/SA on it, what does that mean? Could it be valuable or just a piece of junk?

I found this for $3 at an antique mall & it is a copper colored stone with diamond or faux diamonds around edge.

Basically it is gold plated costume jewery, and may have a value of around $40? Really depends on the piece.
Not sure what the SA part stands for.
The GE means it is Gold Electroplate, and not solid gold.
