the buttons on my mobile key bad stopped working?

the 8, and 0 button on my mobile phone key pad got wet, and now arent working, it is driving me crazy. is there any way i can get it working again? its a vodafone slide phone..

take out the battery and leave it alone for a day or two to make sure all of the water has evaporated
